Contact Lens Travel Case - Don't Leave Home Without Them

Going on a business trip or holiday ? - Don't forget to bring along your contact lens travel case.

Even if you are wearing extended wear contact lenses and think that you will not be replacing them for the next three weeks or so, you can never be sure.

This is especially true if you are traveling to a different country where you cannot be sure if the climate will be kind to your eyes.

As such, it is important to bring along disposable lenses or an extra pair of lenses wherever you go, and of course to keep them in a sturdy contact lenses travel case.

Contact Lens Travel Cases - There's One for Every Need

Just like their prized contents, contact lens travel cases come in many shapes and forms.

However the most basic hard lens case contains a crew-top for each lens (so all that tossing around in your luggage does not cause any spills), a mirror (so you can put your contact lenses on or off anywhere), a pair of soft-tipped tweezers (for contact lens handling), and two small solution bottles.

These travel cases are small, usually not more than 3" (L) x 2 1/2" (W) x 1 3/4" (H); but they come in many colors and designs.

Prices depend of course on the type of contact lens hard travel case you choose.

Inexpensive ones are often mass-produced cases available in drug stores.

If you want something a little bit more up-market, there are personally monogrammed silver and leather travel cases.
