In order to get an auspicious look, people have started using disposable soft contact lens.

However, these lenses become inconvenient at times. You may often complain about irritating eyes and discomfort when you wear the lens.

The prime reason for this is that you pay more attention in wearing the lens than cleaning it.

You should give due attention to lens cleaning and keep the contact lens cleaner handy. 

Why actually we need contact lens cleaners? The eyes are not adaptive to contact lens or for any other foreign objects.

The contact lens prevents air from being exposed to the eye and it needs lots of oxygen to remain healthy.

Extreme avoidance of lens cleaning may result in decline of vision. 

Now we come to the steps of cleaning your contact lens.

Whatever cleaner you may use; there are five steps of the cleaning process.

-        Firstly, you need to clean your hands thoroughly. Use warm water and soap, rinse your hands, and dry them with clean towels.

-        The second step is the actual cleaning, which is sort of scrubbing. For this you need a lens cleaner available in drop form. The cleaner should not come in direct contact with your eyes. 

-        The third step of cleaning lenses is rinsing. During the rinsing process, you remove every strain of the cleaner from the lens, especially if your cleaner has produced a sudsy effect.

-        The fourth step is sterilization. In this step, you disinfect your contact lens with chemicals.

-        Finally, it is time to rinse your lens again before wearing. Most elegant methods of lens cleaning include usage of enzyme cleaner and ultrasonic lens cleaners.

You must remember to clean your contact lens with lens cleaners regularly to avoid bacterial infection.
